Selsey & District Branch of the Royal British Legion was formed in the late 1940s and now meets on Friday evenings. The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to all those who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, as well as their dependents. Anyone who has served in the forces for seven days or more is eligible for our help. From grant-making to disablement pensions advice; from counselling and job retraining to organising pilgrimages; and from home and hospital visits to the provision of full nursing care, the Legion is here to help. The Royal British Legion is the nation’s custodian of Remembrance, ensuring that people remember those who have given their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. |
